Brian Karney is the President and Chief Operating Officer of AccessData. He joined AccessData in June 2007 as the company’s COO. Shortly after joining, Brian spearheaded the refocusing of the company on the enterprise and e-discovery market. Prior to joining AccessData, he worked for Guidance Software and CenterBeam, a Silicon Valley IT outsourcing company. He is one of the leading experts in the forensics and incident response field.
EVP, Global Sales
Simon Whitburn is the Executive Vice President of Global Sales for AccessData. He joined AccessData in September 2008 as the International Sales Director covering all aspects of global sales. For the past fifteen years, Simon’s expertise covered security, forensics and e-discovery at McAfee, F5 and Guidance Software. He leads the overall global sales, channel and managed services for AccessData customers including law enforcement, government and enterprise segments in APAC, EMEA and the Americas.
Craig Carpenter is the Chief Marketing Officer at AccessData. Prior to joining AccessData Craig was VP of Marketing and Business Development at Recommind where he pioneered and popularized predictive coding and predictive information governance into the hottest trends in the e-discovery and GRC markets, respectively. Before joining Recommind Craig led the global field and channel marketing teams at network security leaders Mirapoint and Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT). He has also taught graduate-level courses at the University of San Francisco in digital rights management and high-tech marketing. Craig believes the key to success is always maintaining a high-integrity, customer-centric focus.
Kate Paslin is the General Counsel at AccessData. She joined AccessData as Assistant General Counsel following its merger with Summation Litigation Technologies. Prior to joining AccessData, her professional experience included litigation in maritime and admiralty work, securities litigation, corporate fraud and misrepresentation, antitrust and environmental-toxic tort litigation. Kate holds a J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
